Q: What kind of a store are you?
A: We are a retail furniture and lighting store. We carry everything you need to update the look of your home, we carry all sorts of contemporary and traditional style sofa sets, dining sets, bedroom sets, lighting, entertainment centers, bars and pub tables, rugs, wood flooring, and all sorts of accessories!

 

Q: What is a VIP Membership Card?

A: A VIP Membership Card is a discount card; it has no monthly membership fees or annual renewal fees. It is a simple one time charge of $49, and gives you a permanent 10% discount on everything in our store for life, it even works on our sale and clearance items.

 

Q: Why are there no prices shown on your web site?
A: The Maxsun Lighting and Furniture Website was designed to showcase some of the products that Maxsun carries, not as a Shopping cart style website. For prices or to check the availability of a product please call your closest Maxsun Lighting and Furniture Store.

 

Q: I have a question about the delivery status of my furniture?
A: All Delivery Questions or Issues will be handled by the warehouse of the store you purchased from unless otherwise noted. Please call the store where you purchased from and ask to speak with someone from the warehouse regarding a delivery.

 

Q: How can I find out which store carries a specific item?
A: All Maxsun Lighting and Furniture stores may carry some of the same items, but all stores will have there own inventory of different items.  If it is a specific item you seen on the website or an ad please feel free to either call the closest Maxsun to you or  E-mail the webmaster at jhan@maxsunhomedecor.com with the category and style item you are looking at with a description to help ensure accuracy of the product, we will check the inventory of our stores and get back to you as soon as we can.

 

Q: Do you have a Maxsun Lighting and Furniture Catalogue or brochure?
A: Unfortunately, we do not have catalogs or brochures, as our inventory changes rapidly and we would not be able to keep up with up to date with items in stock.

 

Q: Do you have financing plans?

A: Yes! We offer interest free financing plans year round. Stop in and fill out an application for almost instant approval. You may also call for extra details.

 

Q: How should I clean my upholstery?

A: Most of our furniture will have a tag with a universal cleaning code of how to care for your upholstery. Codes are as follow:

DC - Dry Clean Only.

S - Clean only with dry cleaning solvent. Do not saturate. Do not use water. Pile fabrics may require brushing to restore appearance. Cushion covers should not be removed and dry cleaned.

SW - Spot clean with upholstery shampoo, foam from a mild detergent, or mild dry cleaning solvent. Do not saturate with liquid. Pile fabrics may require brushing to restore appearance. Cushion covers should not be removed and dry cleaned.

W - Clean only with water-based shampoo or foam upholstery cleaner. Do not over wet. Do not use solvents to spot clean. Pile fabrics may require brushing to restore appearance. Cushion covers should not be removed and laundered.

WS - Spot clean with upholstery shampoo, foam from a mild detergent, or mild dry cleaning solvent. Do not saturate with liquid. Pile fabrics may require brushing to restore appearance. Cushion covers should not be removed and dry cleaned.

X - Do not clean with either water- or solvent-based cleaner. Use vacuuming or light brushing only.

 

Q: Where is your furniture made?

A: Most of our furniture is made overseas under our own label. Some of our leather products are made in Italy with the finest Italian leather. Most of our rugs are hand made and dyed in Persia. And a lot of our wooden items are made in the USA or Canada.

 

Q: Do you take custom orders?

A: Yes, please stop in your closest Maxsun Lighting and Furniture store to look at our different samples and swatches for our furniture styles.

 

Q: Can I buy an extra table leaf?

A: Unfortunately no, All of the items that we stock are only shipped with the amount of leafs it is supposed to use, and therefore we cannot order additional leafs.

 

Q: What is the difference between King size and California King size beds?

A: A California King is 4" longer and 4" narrower than a normal King size.

 

Q: Is everything Maxsun makes or carries shown on the website?
A: No, the website only shows a small portion of what we actually carry in our store, the website is designed to just show the wide variety of styles that we carry or make.

 

Q: Can I get touch-up paint or stain for my furniture?

A: We offer a furniture protection in our stores, by using any other products than what we sell you or give you, you will void any warranties that Maxsun Lighting and Furniture or our protector company would have.

 

Q: I need assembly instructions for my furniture. Where can I get them?

A: Any furniture that needs some assembly will come with any directions or parts needed within the box, if your directions are missing from the box, please contact the store in which you bought your furniture from and ask about getting replacement directions.
